Deny him lunch, I say

You are facing the last ball before lunch on the first day of the test. You are on 98. You move outside the leg stump to make room and hit the ball, pitched on the middle and leg, straight to the fielder at mid-off. You take off for the run when there was none, leave alone a double needed to reach three figures. Then, when you are 2-3 feet outside the crease at the other end, you give-up running and start strolling. Fortunately for you, the throw misses the stumps. You are so careless, that you did not take advantage of the overthrow, that could have still got you that magic number. Now, you goto lunch at 99 not out.

What gives? You want to be the first Indian player to score a century before lunch on the first day of a test match. And some people want you to be the future captain.
